One Braham, London

In 2019 Guildprime secured the full washroom fit out package for this new high end 18-story building in the heart of the City of London.

The project involved work of the following:
Setting out.
Supply and fit out the bathrooms / wash-rooms for all 18-stories.
Basement fit out including showers and storage.
Floor and ceiling finishes.
Tiling walls.
Install raised access flooring.
Decoration.
Firestopping.

Challenges
One of the biggest challenges during this project were the strict COVID restrictions that were put in place. Due to there being various other trades and workers involved in the same vicinity and sometimes needing access to quite small working spaces, we had to ensure all workers were maintaining distance between themselves at all times.

Additionally, due to limited storage space, Guildprime had to be cautious when booking and planning deliveries. Time management was also incredibly important during this project. With only two hoists to service the site of 450 staff, advance planning and organising when these are required, and by who, proved efficient in ensuring the smooth running of the project.

Outcome
Guildprime overcome many challenges during this project to guarantee our employer's and contractor's requirements were met. Due to the success of One Braham, this also led to Mclaughlin and Harvey awarding Guildprime another WC core fit out project based in Newgate Street, London at the end of 2021.
