Chelsea Football Club, Stamford Bridge

Commissioned by: Chelsea Football Club
Guildprime was employed by Chelsea Football Club to lightly refresh some of their hospitality suites located at Stamford Bridge. Working alongside the talented architect and design practise KSS, we helped provide these spaces a light but noticeable uplift.

The project involved work of the following:
Removing old ceiling gantries and roller shutters.
Installing new bulkheads.
Installing bespoke CFC branded carpet tiles.
Installing slip-resistant vinyl flooring.
Manufacture and installation of bespoke decorative laminated panels with gold beading to replace dated wood effect panels.
New tiled splashbacks.
New bespoke seating booth.
Lit bottle displays.
New lighting including LED strips to bar fronts and spotlights.
New stainless-steel bar tops.

Challenges
The usual challenges associated with working in a sporting or entertainment venue did not apply on this occasion, as the coronavirus outbreak meant there were no matches or events taking place to work around. However, the lockdown created other challenges and problems such as reduced workforce and restrictions with suppliers.

The whole project was completed with the health and safety of our team, and the wider community, as our absolute priority. This meant additional and meticulous planning to ensure social distancing amongst the workforce was maintained throughout and that the programme could still be carried out in the planned timeframes.

Outcome
Despite there being certain restrictions in place, the project was completed on programme and to the client's complete satisfaction.Guildprime worked extremely hard to ensure the hospitality areas were given the "lift" that the client desired, with a luxury finish that added a unique and stylish statement.
