Guildprime were commissioned by Michael Kors as the main contractor to fit out their largest store in Europe, comprising of over 15,000sq ft. across three floors situated in the middle of Regent Street. Guildprime were selected because of their proven track record of delivering prestigious projects of the highest quality on budget and on programme. No expense was spared in delivering a truly opulent shopping environment to its cusmtomers. A pale, weathered limestone 'runway' leads from the entrance through the entire store whilst Dark Macassar wood floors and tables, Venetian wallpaper, Calcutta marble fixtures and shelves of brushed stainless steel are features throughout.
There were many challenges to overcome to accomplish the fit out of a new concept store within 24 weeks for such an international fashion icon. These included: Major structural alterations, installation of Passenger and goods lifts. Manufacture and installation of clear span, stainless steel staircase together with an illuminated mirrored feature wall over three floors. Bespoke joinery and metalwork throughout, Fenetre glass features, bronze shop-front, specialist floors and book matched marble. Integrated with state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical, audio visual systems, security and safety equipment expected in stores such as this.
The Guildprime team worked around the clock 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to achieve the fantastic end result on time and in budget.
