Jerome Dreyfuss, Berkeley Square

Commissioned by: Jérôme Dreyfuss
Guildprime helped with the fit out of Jerome Dreyfuss' first London store, occupying 1,296 square feet on one of London's most sought after retail locations. The architect, Franklin Azzi took inspiration from Dreyfuss’ love of modernism and butalism along with the architectural creations of Italian architect Carlo Scarpa. The result is an exciting mix of materials including different types of concrete and natural oak.

The project involved work of the following:
Supply and installation of the staircase. This was cladded with the same materials to match the ceiling.
Supply and installation of a curtain feature wall.
Fitted the ceiling raft.
Installation of track lighting.
Coordinated client issue furnishings.

Challenges
Making structural alterations to the fabric of an occupied building required careful planning due to the risk of disturbing existing tenants. In addition, a tight work schedule and limited internal space also proposed a worry regarding the storage of materials.

Outcome
By working closely with Guildprime's French partners, CAA, this ensured materials would only be delivered when necessary. Our collaborative and professional nature enabled the team to overcome various challenges faced during the process and helped provide successful results.
